About Me

I teach 3rd grade at a K-12 school in Idaho.  I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and a Master’s Degree in Reading from Northwest Nazarene University. My teaching career began in 2001. Each year has been a new adventure with varied experiences. In addition to 3rd grade, I have taught Driver's Education, 4th, 6th, and 10th grades. I speak Spanish fluently after serving a volunteer mission in Argentina for 18 months. Using my Spanish to help parents and to teach elective classes has been exciting. I enjoy several hobbies and wish the day included more relaxation time sometimes, but I love my job, working hard, and consider myself a life-long learner.
